Samsung
Electronics has announced that it has developed the first 8Gb low-power double
data rate 4 (LPDDR4) mobile DRAM. This chip can transmit 3.2Gbps over each of
their electric connection, which is twice that of today’s DDR3 and also
consumes 40 percent less power.
