Walter
Chrysler was an American automotive executive and the founder of Chrysler
Corporation. Chrysler went from being a machinist and railroad mechanic to
building one of the biggest automobile companies in the world.
He bought
Maxwell Motor Company which was later changed to Chrysler Corporation in 1925. In
1928, Chrysler Corp. purchased Dodge and Walter Chrysler was named Time
Magazine’s Man of the Year.
