Corporation has decided that it will stop support for its 12-year old operating
system (OS), Windows XP on the 8th of April, 2014 and automated teller machines
(ATMs) are set to be the most affected.

Google announces a project that could help 372 million people

Google announced
on the 16th of January that it was going to embark on a project that would help
diabetics monitor their blood sugar level whenever it is too low or too high.
Managing diabetes is a hard task for diabetics and a technology is needed to
make detection of sugar levels in the blood easier.

Apple found guilty of inflating e-book prices

judge has ruled that Apple Inc conspired with five major publishers to raise
e-book prices. U. S. District judge Denise Cote in Manhattan found evidence
that Apple violated federal antitrust law by playing an integral role in
conspiracy with publishers to eliminate retail price competition.

Reller, while speaking at Microsoft’s Worldwide Partner Conference (WPC) has

Microsoft offers up to $100,000 to those who can expose vulnerabilities of Windows 8.1 Preview

Microsoft
Corp has on Wednesday promised cash rewards for those who can breach its new
operating system Windows Blue (Windows 8.1 Preview) in a novel way. It will
offer up to $100,000 to those who can expose its loop holes and a further $50,000 bonus if
they can explain how they did it and the fix. The US software giant is also
willing to pay up to $11,000 for vulnerabilities that affect Internet Explorer
11 Preview.
