After the return of Apple Dev Center back online, iOS 7 beta 4 was made available for
developers yesterday to download and the interesting feature of using a
fingerprint sensor was found in the latest beta release of Apple’s iOS 7 which
is coming to Apple’s devices soon.
The fingerprint
biometric sensor is expected to be located on the home button of the next Apple
device (possibly iPhone 5S). The sensor will scan the fingerprint of the user
and display it alongside the picture of the user.

It is
expected that other details like financial details stored on the device by the
user will be unlocked when the user unlocks the phone.
A folder in
the iOS 7 beta 4 came with a folder named “BiometricKitUI” which contained
lines of code which indicated the biometric fingerprint sensor feature.
It is yet
to be known how fast this feature will be when it is finally installed on a
device. Developers also claim that since the user is not swiping its finger
across the screen, the scanner is a full-finger scanner.
Full-finger
scanners however are more expensive than thin scanners that recognize
fingerprints by swiping. There are predictions that this could increase the
price of the iPhone 5S when it finally lands on the market.
Other features
that were added to the newly released iOS 7 beta 4 includes tweaks to answer
and call button and a simplified lockscreen.

I believe your previous reply towards Apple and your decision was right after seeing this but one thing i know is that these guys( on android platform especially samsung and sony) can pull something unexpected just to earn the love of people just like they did with S4 and xperia Z( phone and tab). So fingers crossed. Android i believe is less than 7yrs and so far thumbs up for Google, though use both product but by the end of the year when all have done what they do best decisions will be made. Still finger print in the ios7 come on! might tell friends to put a stop to buying S4 for a moment. Why do i feel refreshed reading itsAUTOTASTIC
ReplyDeleteYes that's true. Android is dominating the market presently but we don't know what Apple is cooking yet & there're rumours of cheap smartphones coming from Apple. So the battle is not yet over. Thanks for your comment.
DeleteYes you can say that again, the thing is just that in recent years due to the number of company on the andriod platform we have many against one if u get me and most don't see it like this instead they see Apple vs Android. BBM comes to both android and ios but most think android alone( i speak for these parts only). Android's phones are now is like Nokia then they are cheap, easy to use, and we have tecno android- CHEAP & comes in CHINKO come on!. Here high priced phones are to brag but then phone size also come to mind who is winning we know. Apple great guys but in these parts No and yes they have Asia, but here we just like more you can ask Nokia. itsAUTOTASTIC is just beautiful
