Blizzident 3D toothbrush will brush your teeth in 6 seconds

Dentists have found a way of brushing your teeth which is a more efficient and faster means.

This 3D toothbrush will be able to brush your teeth in 6 seconds compared to about 3 minutes when you use your hands. It was also revealed that this brush will be able to clean the teeth more effectively because it will eliminate all human errors that occur when brushing with your hands.

You may also be wondering how the brush will work. The brush will be chewed like a gum and this process will clean the teeth, and very well with about 600 bristles doing the job. The problem of different sizes is also solved as the 3D toothbrush will fit into the teeth of the user.

“Traditional manual and electric toothbrushes clean only as well as your brushing technique and discipline is,” Blizzident explains on its website. “And even with a good technique, there are always regions you cannot reach, because of the geometry of your manual/electric toothbrush and bristles.”

The digital scan or a dentist impression is used to capture the shape of an individual’s teeth. The file is then uploaded to Blizzident which will print a brush customized for your teeth. The 3D printing method used for this crazy brush is stereolithography and not the common plastic extrusion method.

The cost may however discourage many people from using it. The device will cost $300 (about 48,000 naira) while scanning your teeth may cost as high as $200 (about 32,000 naira). The brush will last for about a year and you’ll spend $160 (25,600 naira) to replace it.
