After a
security breach that saw Apple’s Dev Centre website go offline on Thursday,
18th of July, 2013, Apple has restored some parts of the website. Of the pages
back online are certificates, identifiers, and profiles while Apple Developer
Forums, App Store Resource Centre are still offline.
An email
was sent to developers indicating that the website will be back online as soon
as possible and betas of iOS 7, Xcode 5, and OS X Mavericks will be available
to developers.

The email
read: “We plan to roll out our updated systems, starting with Certificates,
Identifiers & Profiles, Apple Developer Forums, Bug Reporter, pre-release
developer libraries, and videos first. Next, we will restore software
downloads, so that the latest betas of iOS 7, Xcode 5, and OS X Mavericks will
once again be available to program members. We’ll then bring the remaining
systems online.”
An updated
post on the Member Centre also added that those whose subscription was supposed
to expire last week will be extended due to the blackout.
“We
appreciate your patience as we work to bring our developer services back
online. Certificates, Identifiers & Profiles, software downloads, and other
developer services are now available. If you would like to know the
availability of a particular system, visit our status page.
“If your
program membership expired or is set to expire during this downtime, it will be
extended and your app will remain on the App Store. If you have any other
concerns about your account, please contact us. Thank you for bearing with us
while we bring these important systems back online. We will continue to update
you with our progress.” the statement said.
