Apple iPhone
5S and iPhone 5C is expected to be unveiled tomorrow but there has been a leak
of some of the features the high end smartphone may possess.
The newly
leaked images has shown that the rumours of iPhone 5S having a fingerprint
scanner could in fact be true. The images show that the home button will have a
silver ring around it.

This is to
differentiate the iPhone 5S from other Apple smartphones which have identical
home buttons and especially from the iPhone 5 which look very similar to the
iPhone 5S according to the current images and rumours on ground.
This is not
the first time of rumours about the fingerprint scanner. It is expected that
Apple looks to improve the security on its smartphone by introducing
fingerprint scanners which will allow only the user to unlock the phone.
Apple acquired
a fingerprint company AuthenTec last year in a $356 million deal and this could
possibly be the reason for the acquisition. The fingerprint sensor is not
expected to be in the low-budget version, the iPhone 5C.

There have
been speculations that Siri would also be absent from iPhone 5C as they are
deemed high end features. The iPhone 5C is also expected to come in plastic
cases of different colours.
Tomorrow,
Apple has an event scheduled for 10am PT (1pm ET/6pm GMT) at its California
campus where it is expected that the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C will be unveiled.
Stay tuned for the details.
