These are the
words on the invitation to the next Apple event which has all but confirmed the
October 22 date that was earlier rumoured by tech blog All Things D. It is expected
that iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 will be unveiled at the event.
This is the second event Apple is holding a space of about 6 weeks after it unveiled the iPhone 5S and the iPhone 5C on the 10th of September.
Earlier rumours from All Things D have claimed that Apple will hold its event on the
22nd of October. Apple sent a colourful invite out today for an event on the
22nd of this month. Written on the invite are the words “We still have a lot to
cover.” combined with the company’s logo.

The event
will hold at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts Theater in San Francisco by
10am Pacific Time (about 6pm Nigerian time). It is also a possibility that new
Mac Book Pros could be unveiled along with the new OS X 10.9 Mavericks. 9to5Mac recently (few minutes ago) reported that Apple has asked developers to start submitting apps for the new OS X Mavericks so it'll likely feature at the event.
Rumours are
that the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 will be slimmer and lighter than their
predecessors. They could also feature the 64-bit A7 processor that was debuted
on the iPhone 5S and the fingerprint sensor, TouchID. Some reports have claimed that only some of iPad Mini 2 will have a retina display and others will not have it because of the scarce supply of the screen.
There could
be other surprises in the in the bag from Apple which are yet unknown, iWatch?
iTV? iWillGetBackToYou.
