Many have had the experience of misplacing their wallet or purse and had to search endlessly for it before finding it or in some unlucky cases, not finding it at all. In this process, many important materials in the wallet had been lost. But that will not happen again with the introduction of a Bluetooth device called Smart Wallit Pro.
Smart Wallit Pro was invented by Jack Hu with the aim of helping people find their lost wallet or purses. The device has many features which enable the owner to find it with ease. It has an application for iPhone 4 upwards and Android 4.3 devices upwards.

Smart Wallit Pro can be called from a distance of 30 feet away from the smartphone which will result in a loud sound that can be heard clearly from 30 feet away. There is also the ‘I am here’ function that shows a reminder on the smartphone at intervals to know that the wallet is still with the owner.
One of the functions of this Bluetooth device is that it can also alert you when you forget your smartphone the way your smartphone will alert you when you forget your wallet. This is called the ‘two way anti lost’ reminder. Smart Wallit Pro will beep when you forget your smartphone.

When the wallet starts to ring, the user can tap it twice to silence it. Smart Wallit Pro logs the usage of the wallet with its sensor every time it is used. This also records the usage habit of the owner on his smartphone.
Most of all, Smart Wallit is not made for wallets and purses alone. It can be attached to keys and luggage which makes it a portable tracking device. In the case that you lost your wallet, your smartphone app will indicate the last location you used it.

With a dimension of 80mm × 57mm × 4.2mm and a weight of 10g, it makes the device fit into your wallet without hassles. It comes in many colors which include black, blue, pink, red and green. It is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion polymer battery which will last two weeks after a full charge.
The device is not yet on the market but pre-orders can be made for $29 (minus shipping) before it arrives in March. Then it is expected to cost about $60. The project is also looking for backers and you can find all the details about this on Kickstarter’s site. There are also more details about the device if you are interested.
