Quotes for the Week: Sergey Brin (1973 - )

Sergey Brin is an American computer scientist and internet entrepreneur who co-founded the biggest internet company, Google Inc. Sergey Brin was born in Russia and moved to the U.S. at the age of six.

He is worth about $24.4 billion as at the end of 2013 according to Forbes. Here are some quotes from one of the biggest innovators of today:

Solving big problems is easier than solving little problems.
I would like to see anyone be able to achieve their dreams, and that’s what this organization does.
We want Google to be the third half of your brain.
We believed we could build a better search. We had a simple idea, that not all pages are created equal. Some are more important.
Ultimately you want to have the entire world’s knowledge connected directly to your mind.

The kind of environment that we developed Google in, the reason that we were able to develop a search engine, is the web was so open. Once you get too many rules, that will stifle innovation.
Some say Google is God. Others say Google is Satan. But if they think Google is too powerful, remember that with search engines unlike other companies, all it takes is a single click to go to another search engine.
