Apple
recently launched its high-end smartphone iPhone 5S in three colours: gold,
silver, and black colours and it seems the demand has been more than expected
for the gold coloured iPhone especially in Asia which Apple targeted with the
device.
The Wall
Street Journal has revealed that its sources claim that Apple has instructed
iPhone manufacturers in the east to boost production of the gold iPhone 5S by
33 percent.
Gold iPhone 5S is in high demand |
This is due
to the product being out of stock sooner than expected and even the number of
orders received for the product has exceeded expectation.
There have
been long queues in Apple stores for the past 24 hours in regions that are to
have the product on the 20th of September like China and U. S.
According to
reports, the gold iPhone 5S was the first to go out of stock at Apple’s Hong
Kong outlet and many bought the silver coloured version because the gold
version was no more available and they wanted the iPhone nevertheless.
The Wall
Street Journal also reported that iPhone 5S is getting more demand than the
cheaper iPhone 5C.
