Quotes for the week: John Davison Rockefeller (1839-1937)

This week, we are bringing you the quotes of the richest man in history, John D. Rockefeller. John Rockefeller was the founder of Standard Oil Company.

He was the first American to be worth a billion dollars. Adjusting for inflation, he was worth $663.4 billion in 2007 dollars according to Forbes. This makes him the richest man in history. In comparison, he’s worth close to ten times what Bill Gates is worth now.
It must be noted that Standard Oil Company later splitted into reputable oil companies like ConocoPhillips, BP, Chevron, ExxonMobil, etc. John was a devoted Baptist member when he was alive.
